i was born in london in 1981 and moved to hong kong when I was four years old.  i moved back to england after high school and studied a b.a honours degree in graphic design in the surrey institute of art and design. after i had graduated i created the character ‘mr squeek‘. a few years later i became very interested in children’s stories.  i studied a post graduate diploma in education at the hong kong institute of education.  i then taught in a kindergarten for four years and in a primary school for a further 2 years.  now i teach, write stories, illustrate and create squeeks.
